Looking for a beautiful dress on a budget? Well then you’re in luck! Rarely is it possible to find a stunning party dress on a budget without the dress revealing its true cost through its appearance. This season, if you are looking for a party dress fit for a princess, why not check out my 4 favourite outfits below.

The autumn and winter seasons are full of celebratory events and party occasions. Whether it’s finding a vintage dress for a Halloween costume, something classy and chic for Christmas parties, or something sparkly for New Year’s Eve – it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to wear. I think it’s also a good idea to find classic dresses that could fit into your capsule wardrobe so that you can revamp them and wear them more than once! Here are four stylish pieces to get you party-ready this season!

Black Button up Belted Blazer Dress

I love this black button up blazer dress! You can’t go wrong with a classic little black dress, as I have mentioned so many times before. This one has been promoted as my new favourite in my wardrobe. It’s really comfortable, easy to wear, and versatile too. It’s the sort of dress that could look very formal with the right footwear, jewels, and accessories. Alternatively, you could make it compatible for everyday wear by throwing on a pair of neat trainers to possibly create a sporty vibe. The dress has a sophisticated boat neck line and comes with a removable belt too. I’m wearing this dress in a size 8 in these photos.

White Bow One Shoulder Dress

At first glance, it could be difficult to understand my vision and understand why I feel that this white one-shoulder bow dress is suitable for a variety of celebrations. It’s certainly not for those who are highly introverted with their wardrobe choices, but if you’re a fan of the avant-garde then this one’s for you! It really is a simple design in essence, but the detail and extravagance is all in the one-shoulder detail and dramatic bow. My idea is that this could work really well as a vintage style Halloween costume. Simply add a wig or curl your natural hair, add on some red lipstick, costume jewellery and heels – and voila! Contrarily, wearing fine jewellery, subtle makeup, and delicate accessories would transform this dress into an elegant attire, suitable for a formal occasion including even a winter wedding! I wear a size 8 in this dress.

The Light Blue Denim Paper Bag Skirt

This light blue paper bag skirt is one half of a co-ord. In case you’re wondering, a “co-ord” is a two piece set, usually consisting of matching top and bottom garments to create the illusion of a one-piece. This denim paper bag skirt is recommended to be worn with a bandeau top in the same colour. I decided to try the skirt out alone to see how it could be worn with other items in my wardrobe. Over the past year I’ve become a fan of the paper bag style waist line. This is where the waist line of the article of clothing draws into your waist like a drawstring bag. To ensure the best fit, I’d make sure that you choose a size that leaves plenty of room around your waist line to achieve this effect. If you choose a size that only just fits you, the elastic waist will be overly stretched and it will not appear as intended. I really like wearing paper bag waist clothing with shirts tied up at the front, or simple plain white t-shirts. I wear a size 8 in this skirt.

Gold Glitter Sparkly Mini Dress

For me, this gold glitter sparkly mini dress is the ideal ensemble for New Year’s Eve, or any exciting party that you plan to attend this season! I’ve teamed my gold sparkly mini dress with a pair of opaque black tights and over-the-knee vegan suede boots. Mini dresses always remind me of the 60s fashion or sometimes 90s style. Taking into consideration that 1960s style trends are a hot topic this autumn/winter, I decided to follow a 60s vibe through the accessories, makeup and hairstyle I chose to wear. A beehive, chunky bracelets and rings, hoop earrings, false eyelashes and a nude lip is all you need for this look! I wear a size 8 in this dress.

I'd love to hear your thoughts! How would you style each of these looks?
